Ice Coop Rec and Competition Teams
Joining a climbing team is an incredible way to meet new partners, get stronger, and level-up your skills in a supportive environment. Plus, it's ridiculously fun.
This spring, we offer two Spring Rec Teams and one Competition Team to help you hone your skills and stay in shape in the off-season. In the winter, we have expanded offerings to help you fine tune your skills for outdoor objectives, winter competitions, and more.
Recreational Climbing Team
Ideal for folks new to drytooling and ice climbing (or who just prefer a laid-back approach)
Great for beginner and intermediate climbers looking for a fun way to stay in shape
Develops strength and skill for both gym and outdoor objectives
Can improve your endurance, technique, and efficiency on tools
Rec team practice will be held once a week. You can pick between these practice slots: Tuesday 6-8pm and Thursday 8-10pm. Practices begin in early May and go through the end of June. Sign-ups are now open here!
Competition Climbing Team
Best for climbers who have at least a little past competition experience
Ideal for folks who have been members of Ice Coop rec or comp teams in the past
Requires a base level of climbing fitness
Focuses on advanced technique and movement
Develops physical and mental strength for advanced objectives and drytooling competitions
Comp team practice will be held once a week on Tuesday 6:30-8:30am and will run from May 6th to June 24th. Sign-ups are now open here!
Joining either team requires a one-time fee of $300. This covers an entire season of training and coaching. If your team practice falls on a holiday, you and your coach can choose to reschedule or extend practice at your convenience.
Spots are limited and available first-come, first-served. You don't have to make it to every single practice, but full-season commitment is required. This is our favorite part of the spring season, and we'd love to have you join us!
